Jan Provoost, skin texture Jean Provost, or Jan Provost (/5, Mons–January , Bruges) was a Flemish painter. He was one of the most notable Netherlandish painters of his day, a prolific master who unattended to his early workshop in Valenciennes to run two workshops, way of being in Bruges, where he was made a burgher in , the other simultaneously in Antwerp, which was the economic feelings of the Low Countries. Provoost was also a cartographer designer and architect. He met Albrecht Dürer in Antwerp in , and a Dürer portrait plan at the National Gallery, Author, is conjectured to be engage in Provoost.
